Grace isn't merely a theological concept—it's the foundation that transforms how we live, love, and grow. Today's meditation draws from Ephesians 2:8-9, unpacking the profound truth that "God saved you by His grace when you believed, and you can't take credit for this. It's a gift from God."

We explore the subtle danger that emerges when we begin measuring our spiritual worth through performance. When serving, praying, and obeying become metrics for our standing with God, our roots shift dangerously from grace to pride. This performance trap contradicts the essence of the gospel—that we weren't saved because we were good enough, but because we were loved enough. That love manifested in Jesus bleeding, dying, and rising for us.

Being rooted in grace doesn't mean spiritual growth stops. Rather, it means we grow from the right foundation—from security rather than insecurity, from established identity rather than searching for validation, from love rather than fear. The enemy wants us to believe grace is fragile and limited, but the cross proves otherwise. Grace isn't our backup plan when our efforts fail; it's our anchor in every circumstance. Today, don't just express gratitude for grace—plant yourself deeply in it. Let it reshape how you see yourself, how you treat others, and how you approach worship. Join us as we discover what it truly means to be rooted in grace, never performing for God but resting securely in Him.

Let me help you embrace each day with faith and wisdom, ready to feel inspired.

00:00:19.484 --> 00:00:21.070
Let's get started.

00:00:21.070 --> 00:00:23.663
Let's get started.

00:00:23.702 --> 00:00:27.467
Today is day 167, rooted in Grace.

00:00:27.467 --> 00:00:39.911
From Ephesians, chapter 2, verses 8 and 9, from the New Living Translation God saved you by His grace when you believed, and you can't take credit for this.

00:00:39.911 --> 00:00:41.786
It's a gift from God.

00:00:41.786 --> 00:00:51.893
There's something dangerous about forgetting grace when we start thinking that we're doing pretty well on our own serving, praying, obeying.

00:00:51.893 --> 00:01:01.944
It's easy to measure ourselves by our performance, and the minute we do that, our roots shift from grace to pride.

00:01:01.944 --> 00:01:15.487
Paul reminds us in Ephesians you didn't save yourself, you didn't earn it, you weren't good enough, you were loved enough, and that love looked like Jesus Bleeding, dying and rising.

00:01:15.548 --> 00:01:20.769
For you, being rooted in grace means never graduating from it.

00:01:20.769 --> 00:01:24.870
It means you stop performing for God and start resting in him.

00:01:24.870 --> 00:01:29.503
It doesn't mean you stop growing.

00:01:29.503 --> 00:01:35.694
It means you grow from the right place, from security, from identity, from love.

00:01:35.694 --> 00:01:44.546
The enemy would love to convince you that grace is fragile and that it runs out, but the cross already proved that it doesn't.

00:01:44.546 --> 00:01:47.481
It's your anchor, not your backup plan.

00:01:48.944 --> 00:01:50.567
So walk humbly today.

00:01:50.567 --> 00:01:54.353
Don't just say thank you for the grace.

00:01:54.353 --> 00:01:56.522
Plant yourself in it.

00:01:56.522 --> 00:02:02.040
Let it shape how you see yourself, how you treat others, how you worship.

00:02:02.040 --> 00:02:04.659
Treat others how you worship.

00:02:04.659 --> 00:02:08.682
Pray with me, father God, thank you for saving me by grace.

00:02:08.682 --> 00:02:11.566
I didn't deserve it and I couldn't earn it.

00:02:11.566 --> 00:02:15.508
Help me stay rooted in your love, not my performance.

00:02:15.508 --> 00:02:19.413
Let grace define my thoughts, actions and identity.

00:02:19.413 --> 00:02:21.314
Keep me grounded, father.

00:02:21.314 --> 00:02:24.979
Keep me grounded in the cross, amen.

00:02:24.979 --> 00:02:34.584
Well, that's all for today, but I'll be back tomorrow with more of God's Word.
