And if you're anything like me, surrender is one of those words that sounds beautiful in worship songs but gets real uncomfortable when God actually asks for it.

I like having a plan, I like knowing what's next and I really like feeling in control.

But then I think of Jesus in the garden facing the cross, and in Luke 22, verse 42, he says Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me.
